Went Jurong East to have dinner. Was wanting to watch IP Man at JP. The earliest time was 12mn. So we decided to drink. =) Went Discovery. Fcuked up place. Not nice. After that to NaNa. Shane. YOU ARE THE MAN !! YOU FCUKING PUSSY MAN.

I dreamt of something bad. I forgotten what is it. But.. I DON'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN ! SHOO SHOO!!

Went Lot1 to get my goggle for swimming. Gonna book in later. Time really flies. Have to book in again so soon. How I wish I can book out two times a week.

Things I don't want to happen please.. and I mean PLEASE don't happen. Nobody want something bad to happen to them. But I wish I don't have to be the one. Anyway, I always got a werid feeling when it comes to Sunday or whenever I need to book in. Hate to be in there. It's like no life there. I want to do my own things! 2 years GO GO GO !!

Cooler King

First of all, Happy New Year to all!

I think most people have different definitions of a cooler. One Could say its when you and one or more players have a hand that they cannot simply lay down. This might seem a little general so Ill try and give specific examples. Bear in mind that this is my definition, I dont want to hear any flack about it being wrong. If you dont like it, go read another blog.

You have AQ in the SB and BB has AK and you both flop an ace. I think this is quite a good examples as most people never really give credit to SB when you are in the BB and vice versa. Another is over-pair versus over-pair on a very dry and small board. A flop of 8 3 2 rainbow and you have 9s and someone else has 10s. Its gonna be pretty tough to lay this down. Now the two examples above are probably the only times that I will say that one pair qualifies as coolers.

The most typical are the Flush over Flush and Boats over Boats. Like the above, its going to be very difficult to lay your hand down, especially if there has been any history between you and the other player.

This is the introduction for my title. I have claimed ownership of this rank and I would like others to try and take it away. Let me give you some choice examples and you can decide for yourselves.

A hand begins with the CO calling the BB and I raise with JJ on the button to 4.50. The SB and CO both call and we see a flop of J 7 4 rainbow. Its checked to me and on a pretty dry board I would like some value from top set and bet the same amount. Both players call and turn brings out an 8. Some funky straight draws show up but when it is checked to me I lead out for 10. Only the SB calls and I am relieved to see a river of 7 which makes me a boat. SB says this is a quads bet and leads out for 25. I reraise 30 more. He looks at me and keeps yelling out "QUADS, QUADS, QUADS!" and raises 50 more. He didnt look like he was kidding around so I decide to just call with very little left behind and he turns over 7s.

A raise to 3.50 in EP and its folded to me in the button with QQ and I flat call. Flop comes AQJ with 2 clubs and I check. Raiser leads out for 10 and I reraise 15 more. She reraises back 20 and I flat. Turn is an offsuit T and she leads out for 25 and I call. River is a blank and we both check down a scary board and she turns over AA. Later against the same player, I make runner runner trips, unfortunately she had two-pair on the turn and filled up.

Im in EP with 7s and limp in when an MP raises to 3.50. He is reraised to 11 and the button, myself and first raise all call. Flop comes 7 2 2 and surprisingly, everyone checks. Turn is another 2 and reraiser makes it 15, which the button and myself call. River is a J and I lead out for 25 which reraiser calls. The button raises another 50 and I reluctantly call. He turns over JJ. I reluctantly call because the above scenarios happened in the same night and I felt my luck was effed up.

Ill try and remember any other choice situations but till then I challenge anyone to take away my title as the Cooler King. Brrrr.
